"Both VHP and SP leaders sit together and hold meeting at Chief Minister's residence, give statement to the media that talks were good and try to vitiate the atmosphere," BSP general secretary Satish Chandra Misra told a public meeting here.
Mishra was referring to VHP leader Ashok Singhal's meeting with SP leaders at the official residence of the Chief Minister in Lucknow last year.

"There is no rule of law. As many as 137 riots, 13,000 murders and 9000 rapes have taken place during the SP regime," he said.
Mishra alleged both the SP and the BJP had a common agenda of fomenting riots.
The BSP leader said those who failed to control riots in Gujarat in 2002 were now talking of implementing the state model in rest of the country.
