By-election results reaffirm people's faith in us: Punjab CM

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on Monday described the results of the two Assembly by-elections in Punjab as "a vindication of the programmes, policies and performance of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD)-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government and a major set-back to the Congress."

"We not only won the Talwandi Sabo seat from the Congress but also increased our vote share considerably in Patiala Assembly constituency."
