Former Union minister P Chidambaram's residence in Chennai is being raided by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), news agency ANI reported on Tuesday morning. 

The CBI is searching 16 premises of Chidambaram and his family in relation to the Aircel Maxis probe. 

According to the NDTV report, sources have said that the raids are targeting Chidambaram's son Karti Chidambaram.
