Party's Communication Department head and former Union Minister Ajay Maken had a meeting with party spokespersons and television panelists from Congress.
Since more than half of the spokespersons and panelists could not make it to the meeting as the information was given to them only on Monday, Maken has scheduled another meeting on June 25.

AICC Media Department has now been re-christened as Communication Department and there is a clear thrust on increasing the party's presence on social media.
An indication of this was available even today, when Maken tweeted portions from the AICC release on Congress President Sonia Gandhi's communication with Home Minster Sushilkumar Shinde and chief ministers of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Sources said that the party is also planning to come out with hashtag 'Fekunama' on Twitter to attack on Narendra Modi over his false development claims.
In the last few months, Congress and organisations sympathetic to it had made a number of attempts to give teeth to party's information strategy on social media.
An interesting spectacle of this was available a couple of months back, when Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi had addressed a number of trade bodies meetings.
A virtual war had broken over Twitter then in which Modi and Rahul supporters had tried to outdo each other.
Sources said that the thrust in the meeting today was on to avoid the tendency of speaking out of turn and ensure uniformity in the party responses on issues.
