Seat sharing not important, mission is to end 'jungle raj' in Bihar: RLSP

The Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) on Friday said that they have no problem with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over seat sharing in the Bihar Assembly polls.

"The RLSP and BJP have an understanding. We (RLSP) have decided that we will not create an issue over seats. We have not had any discussion over seat sharing," said RLSP general secretary Shivraj Singh.

The RLSP leader, who was talking to the media after his meeting with BJP president Amit Shah, further said that his party has a great coordination with the BJP and both parties were focused on achieving victory in Bihar.

"We discussed how the NDA can win the elections and how we can end the 'jungle raj' in Bihar. We did not discuss about seats, because seat distribution is not an important issue for us," he added.

The Election Commission announced the dates for Bihar assembly polls on Wednesday.

The five-phase election will be held from October to November; the first phase will take place on October 12 and the final phase will be held on November 5.

Counting of votes will take place on November 8.
