Sonia, Rahul to attend Modi's swearing-in

The Congress Party has said that its president and vice president, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, will represent the party at the swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi at Rashtrpati Bhavan on Monday evening.

Gandhi had congratulated Modi on his electoral victory on May 20 hours after he was elected leader of BJP Parliamentary Party and the NDA.

Modi will become India's 14th Prime Minister on Monday.
