TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao, who is set to be the first Chief Minister of Telangana next month, is likely to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi.

The TRS chief is among a host of leaders who have been invited for the swearing-in function to be held at the forecourt lawns of the Rashtrapati Bhavan on May 26.

Rao would leave for Delhi tomorrow, party sources said here.

Rao, whose party won the just-held Assembly polls in Telangana, would take oath as Chief Minister here on June 2 when the new state would come into existence.
