US report carries map showing PoK as part of Pakistan

The US later had removed the map from the State Department's website after New Delhi raised objections to it

A report released by US' Department of Defence has carried a map of Asia in which portions of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir have been shown as part of Pakistan.

The front page of the report titled 'Military and Security Developments Involving the People's Republic of China for 2014' displays the map of Asia.

The map includes portions of Pak-occupied Kashmir as part of Pakistan.

In 2011, India had taken exception to the 'gross inaccuracies' in a map on the website of the State Department and asked US to depict boundaries of the country correctly.

The US later had removed the map from the State Department's website after New Delhi raised objections to it.
