CMC wins Golden Peacock Innovative Product/Service Award - 2011

CMC Ltd. has won the Golden Peacock Innovative Product/Service Award for 2011 at an award ceremony held at the 22nd World Congress on Total Quality in Bangalore. The award was presented to Mr. Ramanathan Ramanan, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, CMC Ltd. by Ola Ullsten, former Prime Minister of Sweden and Co-Chair, World Commission on Forests and Sustainable Development, Rt Hon'ble Baroness Sandip Verma, Lords Minister for Business, Innovation & Skills (Higher Education) and Equalities & Women and the Whip for the Cabinet Office, British Government and Lt. Gen J. S. Ahluwalia, PVSM (retd.), President, Institute of Directors.

The award was won by CMC's Genisys Configurator, which is empowering a large number of General Insurance companies in India.

While addressing the distinguished gathering of business leaders, jurists, academia, environmentalists, economists, legislators and policy makers, Mr. Ramanan said, "CMC Ltd. has been at the forefront in managing client issues and helping them with innovative ideas to run business operations smoothly. I congratulate our fellow staff members who have maintained CMC's growth momentum in the current challenging business environment."
