Firstsource clarifies no immediate plans for US listing

Firstsource Solutions today clarified that contrary to reports in sections of the media it had no immediate plans to list the Company’s stock on US exchanges. The Company further stated that Ananda Mukerji, MD & CEO’s remarks to Dow Jones Newswires were not being quoted in the proper context.

The full text of his remarks on this matter are reproduced below:

….."Our big customers and markets are in the U.S. and U.K. So we have thought about it (the listing) at some point from both brand visibility and another source of capital perspective," Ananda Mukherji told Dow Jones Newswires in an interview.

However, "we don't have any immediate plans" for the U.S. listing, he said, adding that the company doesn't need to raise funds at this point.
