Fortpoint has launches Marutui’s MUL ECCO

New Concept for Mumbai Taxi, Joint Family Car, Corporates, Tourist Operators and School Van – 5 & 7 Seater.

Fortpoint Automotive (cars) Pvt Ltd stated business in 1993 with Hero Honda dealership. MUL awarded its dealership to Fortpoint in Feb 2007. .In the last 3 years Fortpoint has consistently grown by almost 100% in MUL, strongly backed by the taxi segment. Presently Fortpoint has outlet at Mahalaxmi and Mahim in  Mumbai and at Thane.

On the auspicious Makar Sankranti Day Fortpoint has launched Marutui’s MUL ECCO.  It is an MPV type of vehicle, classified in the C segment & is targeted as both Passenger Car and Commercial Vehicle.

Powered with 1200 cc. engine it is available in versions such as 4+1 as non A/c or A/c, and 6+1as non A/c or with A/c as optical fitment. The vehicle can serve a range of customers such as Joint Families, Corporates, Tourist Operators, Meter Taxi, as a School Van, etc. It can cater to the taxi segment operated on point to point basis.

The major chunk of Business will be Mumbai Taxi segment now that the Taxi Operation Area is extended from Greater Mumbai to MMRDA under which Alibaug, Kasara, Karjat, Panvel, Virar are covered.

Fortpoint has tied up with various Scheduled Banks and Nationalized Banks such as SIDBI, SBI, NATIONAL CO OP BANK, DNYNDEEP CO OP SOC., etc. to Finance the Vehicles. They have already sold around 4000 MUL vehicles during Nov. 08 to Dec 09 period. They command a position as a market leader in the Taxi Segment.
