New representative offices support significant expansion of luxury hospitality brand
Asia-based luxury hotel and resort management company GHM (General Hotel Management) has extended its global marketing network to India, Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
Establishment of the representative offices underlines the key importance attached to the two rapidly developing markets and significant expansion of GHM’s portfolio of luxury hotels and resorts worldwide.
The addition of India, Russia and the CIS to GHM’s sales and marketing network follows the opening of a Shanghai-based regional office in China last year. Clement Koh, Vice President - Sales & Marketing of GHM said, “GHM recognises the importance of these markets and their potential in terms of ever-increasing numbers of travellers seeking luxury holiday experiences.”
In Russia and the CIS, GHM is represented by Moscow-based agency TOP Signature (www.topsignature.ru). Led by Maria Topolskaya, the agency’s seasoned team of professionals will provide GHM’s growing portfolio with strategic sales, marketing and public relations support.
In India, GHM is represented by the renowned marketing consulting firm Sartha (www.sarthaindia.com), headed by hospitality industry veteran Sheema Vohra. Sartha is headquartered in New Delhi, with branch offices in Mumbai and Chennai.
“Sheema Vohra is widely respected in her field, while TOP Signature has established itself as the pre-eminent representative of choice for luxury hotel brands in its markets. We are confident our strategic partnership with both agencies will go a long way in strengthening our brand presence in these highly desirable markets”, said Mr. Koh.
The extension of GHM’s marketing network coincides with the rapid expansion of the renowned hospitality brand founded in 1992 by Hans R. Jenni and legendary hotelier Adrian Zecha, famed for establishing iconic brands including Amanresorts and The Regent.
GHM has an unrivalled reputation for conceptualising, developing and operating exclusive and stylish hotels and resorts worldwide. Its current portfolio of award winning and unique hotels and resorts is set to expand over the coming years with a number of new openings in the pipeline including two properties in China: The Chedi Club Suzhou and The Chedi Taiping Lake. Also under development are resorts in Egypt, Jordan, Switzerland, Morocco and Malaysia.
