Announcing the programme, Mr. Saurabh Srivastava, Chairman of IVCA said, “This is just one of the initiatives that IVCA is undertaking to bring the practices and standards of VC/PE industry in India closer to the global standards. This initiative also helps in creating a larger pool of high quality skilled fund managers. We welcome EVCA’s partnership in this programme, which is now being held in India for the second year running.”

The master class aims at educating and creating awareness in the entrepreneurial/ investor ecosystem for a  better understanding of the valuation principles and provide an insight into the International Private Equity and Venture Capital Guidelines (developed by AFIC,BVCA and EVCA).Says Mr. Ranjit Shastri, Executive Director, Indian Venture Capital Association, “This is a particularly important event as we will be initiating a dialogue on the subject of industry standards with respect to disclosure of financial information by PE/VC funds to their investors.
