Jaipuria Institute of Management (JIM), one of the premier business schools in India has signed an MOU with Genpact India, today. Dr Subhash Datta, Director Jaipuria institute of Management, Jaipur and Mr Diwakar Singhal, Vice President, Genpact Ltd, Jaipur signed this document of mutual understanding. Accordingly, M/S Genpact Ltd will provide necessary training to students through Genpact trained staff of Jaipuria Institute of Management and will ensure to hire all the students of the Institute subject to their clearing final assessment. Such selected students will be absorbed at the entry level for managerial staff.
“With this important agreement, we are extremely happy to be associated with Genpact Ltd, Jaipur & this is a great achievement in the history of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur as this will open new avenues for the students.” Dr Subhash Datta, Director Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur. Dr. Datta said, “This MoU will not be a mile stone between this noted Business School of Jaipur but will also open a new door of opening in Genpact, who have an established brand name in rendering IT and BPO services.”
The Institute has agreed to have the Genpact Destination Finance Training curriculum as part of its syllabus in the Institute or as an elective course and Genpact has agreed to train the Institute employees to enable them to deliver the courses effectively. The Institute has agreed to train students with B. Com / BBA background who opt for the Genpact Destination Finance Training Curriculum. Genpact will have the first right to hire from this set of students.
Upon execution of this MoU, Genpact shall share the Training Material on Destination Finance Training with the Institute. It is relevant to mention that the Genpact Training Material in the proprietary material of Genpact which it will be sharing free of cost with the Institute. Genpact will conduct Training sessions for the faculty of the Institute to enable them to deliver the Training to its students effectively. Genpact will also provide ongoing support as feasible to the Institute to better administer the Training program.
In consideration of Genpact sharing its Training Material and giving support to launch the BPO curriculum, Institute will allow Genpact to have priority on campus recruitments done from the Institute and its colleges. It is clarified that campus recruitments will be done by Genpact as per its business plans and needs and nothing herein shall constitute a binding commitment on part of Genpact to hire from the Institute.
Genpact intends to hire all the students who clear the final assessment and Genpact hiring screens. The students will be absorbed at the entry grade for management staff.
