Mumbai to battle it out at grand finale of Paddle Pop Gaming League

~Twenty Wiz Kids from across the country will compete for the National Finals of the Paddle Pop Gaming League 2010 on Children’s Day~

Kwality Walls & Zapak have successfully created a unique Children’s Gaming Property that draws on the excitement & thrills of Online Gaming to build a competitive platform for the technology savvy children of today – Paddle Pop Gaming League.

In its 3rd edition in 2010, Paddle Pop Gaming League has scaled greater heights by establishing itself as ‘India’s Largest Online Gaming Championship for Children’. Over 7,00,000 children in the age group 8-14 yrs from across 22 cities & towns of India participated in a 3 stage tournament.

14th November’10 will witness the culmination of the Paddle Pop Gaming League (PPGL) at the Imax Big Cinemas at Wadala, Mumbai that will see top 20 finalists battle it out to win the tournament.

Kombatei was the theme for the 2010 edition of PPGL, which saw the Paddlepop Lion take on Shadow Master and his new allies by undergoing Shaolin Kung Fu training to learn new combat skills. Children played 3 Paddlepop Kombatei based games – Punch Out, Ninja Secrets and Fast Faster Fastest in the first phase of Online Preliminaries hosted on www.paddlepop.in

Participating children played through 4 zones – Northern Ninjas, Southern Samurais, Eastern Emperors, and Western Warriors to qualify for the second phase of Intra Zonal Finals.

1,100 children played the Intra Zonal Finals on the 30th & 31st of October on the popular online racing game – Crazy Kart.

Vinayak Sengupta , Aditya Sharma , Karan Agrawal , Aryan Bansal and Kevin Vyas came out victorious in the West Zone finals of the Paddle Pop Gaming League 2010.

After having received an over-whelming response for the past 2 years, Paddle Pop Gaming League has established itself as the premier gaming tournament that children from across India look forward to.

Winning Participants and Teams will stand a chance to win the title of the National Winners for PPGL 2010 and would additionally get a chance to be on National Television and receive Sony PSPs, I Pod Shuffles, Gaming Consoles from Mitashi & Gaming Hampers from Zapak Games.
