PE Electronics Ltd, a new business unit that brings together two premium brands, Philips and Electrolux that complement each other as a single entity under a unique brand licensee agreement, today announced the appointment of Neeraj Sethi and Sajeev R. as its Chief Operating Officers.
Neeraj Sethi will head the range of television products of brand Philips that includes LED, LCD and Ultra Slim CRT, while Sajeev R. will head the range of Home Appliances of brand Electrolux which includes Refrigerators, Air-Conditioners, Washing Machines and Microwave Ovens.
Sethi started his career with Videocon Industries after his formal education in Business Management from Jammu University in 1989. Subsequently he worked, with LG Electronics in Bangalore for a period of two years. Sethi later joined Samsung India Electronics Pvt. Ltd and played a vital role in the company for a period of 10 years at various all India regional positions. His last stint with Samsung was that of Vice President – Region Head. Neeraj Sethi Chief Operating Officer, PE Electronics Ltd said, ‘I am delighted to take on this new role and hope to use my experience to offer Indian consumers a range of television products that will re-define this segment. While brand Philips has always been synonymous with trust and reliability the cutting edge technology of our new television products will further build on this commitment to our customers.”
Sajeev R. completed his graduation in the year 1993 from Pune University. He started his career with BlowPlast in the sales department, post which he moved to MIRC Electronics as the Sales Manager followed by Thomson Electronics in 1998- 1999’. He has spent a major part of his tenure with Samsung wherein his last stint was that as the Head of Appliances. Sajeev R., Chief Operating Officer, PE Electronics Ltd said, ‘I am delighted to be a part of Electrolux, as we embark on a new journey to achieve leadership status in this category. Electrolux is committed to offering state of the art products and services to our consumers in India. I hope to maximize my experience in this sector in order to accelerate our growth across the home appliance category and reach the milestones that we have set for ourselves.’
Set up in April 2010, PE Electronics Ltd. is headquartered in Mumbai and will operate in 9 zones with 24 branch offices across the country.
