SKF India hosts Procurement and Supply Chain Roundtable

SKF India hosted a one day knowledge sharing Procurement and Supply Chain Roundtable at the SKF College Campus in Pune, India. The event brought experts and professionals from various industry segments together on a common ground to discuss challenges and best practices in the area of procurement and supply chain. Industry professionals from diverse backgrounds attended the event.

Inaugurating the event Shishir Joshipura, Managing Director, SKF India Ltd said “Business scenarios are changing everyday and so are demand patterns across the world. This round table is an opportunity to create a dialogue among industry experts to share best practices and offer insights on ways to improve collaboration across the supply chain.”

Bo-Inge Stensson, Senior Vice President, Purchasing, SKF Group, shared his thoughts on the challenges in global and connected demand chains and how SKF is adapting to meet the dynamics of varied demand patterns across the world. He appreciated the participants for willing to share their best practices as the knowledge connection in a high speed world will enable development of business processes that are more agile and innovative.

The forum provided attendees with a first-hand look at proven solutions and innovative approaches to many of their supply chain, procurement and talent management challenges, perspectives and new strategic thinking across diverse industries like Medical Devices, FMCG, manufacturing and engineering.
