SPML wins a prestigious order worth Rs. 457 cr

Awarded by Office of the Executive Engineer S&I (WR) Division, Jhalawar

SPML Infra Ltd. (formerly Subhash Projects And Marketing Limited), one of India’s leading infrastructure companies having focus in water management, environment and power has bagged a significant project amounting to Rs. 457.2 crore in the state of Rajasthan. The order entitles the construction of civil, hydro-mechanical and electrical works of the Kalisindh Gravity Dam in Jhalawar District. SPML Infra Ltd. has won this order in association with MoU partner Om Metals Infra Projects Ltd; the project work is set to commence within a period of 10 days.  The work has to be completed within 24 months. This project is supposed to cater to the water requirements of the 1,200 MW Thermal Power Plant that would be set up at Jhalawar by Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RRVUNL).

Commenting on the occasion, their sixth successful bid win within the space of two months, Mr. Rishabh Sethi, Chief Operating Officer, SPML, said “This is one of the largest such wins in the country in the domain of civil construction. The win reiterates SPML’s strength in the infrastructure development sector. We are executing a number of civil construction projects in the Power Generation sector. In this project we will be leveraging our experience and strength in civil construction and in house plant & machinery. ”
