Zuri White Sands, Goa Resort & Casino welcomes Chef Yann Chretien on board as Executive Chef. A French national, Chef Yann comes with immense experience in the Food & Beverage industry and has travelled the globe in his quest for the perfect culinary experience. A graduate from Brevet des Colleges, Chef Yann has further studied at Storck Hotel School, France and Southborne School of English. Having worked for many years in Vietnam, UK and several other parts world-over, this is his first experience in India. Chef Yann’s role as Executive Chef will be extended to developing new concepts for all F&B Outlets, ensuring strict adherence to HACCP standards and the introduction of international level staff training programmes.
Yann began his career in 1987 in Germany and moved on to work in UK, after which he was in Vietnam for the last 9 years. Prior to joining Zuri White Sands, he has worked with several prestigious hotel groups and private fine diners across the world like Sofitel Plaza, Hanoi, Victoria Group and Isrotel, Israel to name a few. He speaks fluent English, French and Switzer German, with intermediate German and basic Vietnamese, and is all set to enjoy his stint amidst sun, sand and the beautiful beaches!
