The 32-year-old actor's wife has filed a missing person's report and believes that he may be in the Skid Row area of the downtown LA. She told Los Angeles Police Department that she had not seen her husband since May 9, 2012, reported TMZ online.
Stahl had been frequenting the Skid Row area, renowned for its problems with homelessness and drugs.
In February 2012, Stahl's wife filed court papers "expressing serious concerns that the actor may be using drugs."
The actor's representative declined to comment on the situation.
The actor has two movies currently in post-production. He is due to star in "Away From Here", alongside Alicia Witt and "American Dream", directed by Janusz Kaminsky known for his work on "Schindler's List" and "Saving Private Ryan".
