1.1 lakh trees planted in Gautam Buddha Nagar

Under Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav's'Green UP Clean UP' tree plantation drive, the district administration today planted 1.1 lakh trees in Gautam Buddha Nagar district at ten locations.
In Bishada, 30,000 trees were planted and Harmony Park developed upon the initiative of District Magistrate N P Singh.
The DM said plants provide oxygen to all irrespective of religion or caste.
Forest department officials had planned the locations and supervised the tree plantation drive.
