According to an official release, the excise department conducted raids at different places across the city and seized 1,180 litres of country liquor worth Rs 47,200.
The liquor have been seized from Hirimbapur, Sonaighuli, Chaidhya Mile, Japorigog and Amingaon areas, it added.
The Excise Department has registered 35 cases in this connection, the release said.
