The drive was carried out across the zones yesterday and today and besides retrieving the land encroached by others, the Corporation also removed illegal shops constructed at its site, Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer Vijay Karthikeyan said.
From Central zone, the corporation officials were successful in removing illegally constructed shops on 60 cents at various places, Karthikeyan said adding similar drive will continue.
