1 dead, 1 seriously injured in road accident

One person died and other was severely injured in a head-on collision near Chakwa Village on Balrampur-Tulsipur Baudh Paripath, police said today.
The accident occurred when two motorcycles coming from opposite directions collided head-on, leaving one Sabbu hailing from Belha village dead on the spot, they said.
The other motorcycle rider, Harish Singh, hailing from Pandri District Gonda got serious injury, police added.
He has been referred to Lucknow, they said.
Kotwali Balrampur Dehat police sent Sabbu's body for postmartom, they added.
