The accident took place on Sitapur-Lucknow national highway near Chapartala village under Maigalganj police station limits in the wee hours, police said.
The deceased was identified as Mustafa, police said, adding that negligence on the part of the bus driver was stated to be the reason behind the accident.
The injured were admitted to the district hospital, police added.
