Deseased Darshan Kumar and his brothers - Vijay Kumar (35), Tony (33) and Balwinder (32) - had a property dispute with their relatives.
There was a heated discussion between the brothers and a group of five men, believed to be their relatives, following which the men opened fire at the victims. They later fled from the spot, police said.
While Darshan succumbed to several bullet injuries in the hospital, his brothers sustained major injuries and are undergoing treatment at civil hospital Ferozepur.
