One man was killed and four people were injured in two road accidents in outer Delhi's Narela area, police said today.

A speeding truck rammed into a motorcycle, crushing Sahil Khatri to death and injuring his friend when the duo were headed to Alipur, they said, adding that the truck driver fled from the spot with the truck after the accident.

Khatri was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared "brought dead", officials said.

In a separate incident, a car driver lost control and rammed his vehicle into a truck parked by the side of the road in Narela. Three people, including a minor, were injured, they added.
