In the first case, four persons were arrested by Sector-55 police following a tipoff that they were planning to rob travellers on the Samaypur road here.
Four iron rods were seized from the gang, police added.
A second group, also consisting of four persons, was busted by Sarai Khwaja police who recovered a countrymade pistol and an iron rod from them.
In a third case, two persons were arrested Mujesar police arrested two persons for allegedly planning to rob travellers at a desolate area here.
