10 IAS officers transferred in a minor reshuffle

In a minor administrative reshuffle, the Bihar government today transferred 10 IAS officers including Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) Commissioner, an official notification said.
Shirshat Kapil, a 2011 batch officer who was Director of Bihar State Water Board, has been made the new Chief Executive Officer-cum-Commissioner of PMC replacing the incumbent PMC CEO Jai Singh, a notification issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) said.
Jai Singh has been transferred as the new District Magistrate-cum-Collector of Khagaria, it said.
Altogether five District Magistrates have been changed in the reshuffle.
Amarendra Prasad Singh, who was a Munger DM, has been made Managing Director of Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation (BUIDCO). Besides, Singh would also hold the additional charge of Bihar State Housing Board, Patna, the notification said.
Lakhisarai DM Uday Kumar Singh would be the new DM of Munger while Sunil Kumar, currently posted as Joint Secretary in the Chief Minister's Secretariat, would replace Singh in the same capacity in the Lakhisarai.
Himanshu Kumar Rai, who has been allotted Bihar cadre after change in his previous Kerala cadre, has been made joint secretary of health department, Patna. Rai would also hold the additional charge of Executive Director of State Health Society, Patna.
Darbhanga District Magistrate Balamurgan D has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer of Jeevika, Patna with additional charge of Additional Secretary of Rural Development Department.
Chandrashekhar Singh, the DM of Sheikhpura, has been made the new DM of Darbhanga.
Khagaria DM Saket Kumar has been made the new Director of Handloom and Silk Directorate, Bihar, Patna till further orders, the notification said.
While Dinesh Kumar, Director of Handloom and Silk Directorate, has been made the new DM of Sheikhpura.
