The second season will be staged in October this year with more teams, especially from the subcontinent.
In the first year the tournament was immensely popular in the Indian subcontinent and in the GCC nations. Last year the tournament was staged at the historic Sharjah Cricket Stadium, thanks to the support of Waleed Bukhatir.
The nature of the competition and the structure of the tournament even caught the attention of the brand ambassador Virender Sehwag. Sehwag, like most from the subcontinent, had started his life as a tennis ball cricketer.
He added, "The associations that we have built will continue to aid us in our plans. In particular all the sponsors and partners that were associated with us will benefit us in a big way.
