Ten police sub-inspectors here will face departmental action or inquiries for alleged laxity in routine work of investigations, a senior official said today.
Due to dereliction in duty by these officers of the Amethi Circle, 205 investigations are pending for the past six months, Additional Superintendent of Police BC Dubey said.
The Amethi Circle has three police stations -- Amethi, Sangrampur and Piparpur.
Four SIs of Amethi, three each of Sangrampur and Piparpur will face departmental action or inquiries, the officer said.
