10-year-old accused of raping toddler

A toddler was allegedly raped by a 10-year-old boy who lives in her neighbourhood in Aman Vihar area of North Delhi last evening, police said today.
The boy has been apprehended and sent to an observation home after a case was registered in this regard.
"The incident happened last evening when the girl's family was out of home. The boy went to the house and allegedly sexually assaulted the victim after finding her alone. As she started crying he fled the spot. Hearing the victim, some neighbours rushed to the spot and informed her mother and police," said a police official.

The girl was taken to a nearby hospital and the boy was nabbed after the victim's family filed a complaint, police said.
