"40 teams with around 1,000 sportspersons from all paramilitary forces and state police organisations would take part in the championship that will be held at GMC Balayogi Stadium at Gachibowli from September 3 to September 7," CISF ADG Dharmendra Kumar told reporters today.
The participants will compete in 44 categories.
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Governor E S L Narasimhan will inaugurate the opening ceremony whereas Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will grace the closing function, Kumar said.
