105 arm licenses cancelled

Authorities here today ordered the cancellation of 105 arm licenses which were obtained through fake documents.
The order was passed on the recommendation made by police after a thorough probe, sources said.
Officials said that the racket of arm licenses was busted when few accused were apprehended by the Patiala police.
During investigation of accused, it came to light that city based gun house dealer was allegedly involved in procuring fake licenses for people living out of the district.
The racket was busted last year and during the one year investigation, police team found that 105 arm licenses were obtained using fake documents.
