10th std student among 3 killed in 2 accidents

: A 10th standard student was among three persons killed and two seriously injured in two road accidents in different places in this district, police said.
In the first incident, two persons were killed and two seriously injured when a lorry rammed their two wheeler at Kadambangalam vilakku near Kariyapatti in this district.
The four were thrown off the bike. A 15 year old male school student and a 19-year-old teenager died on the spot.
The other two were hospitalised.
In second mishap, a farmer was killed on the spot when a van rammed his motorbike near Vattirairuppu in this district.

The van driver was arrested, police said.
