11 injured in roof collapse

Eleven people, including two children and a woman, were injured today when the roof of an under-construction building collapsed in Manuvatika area of the city due to heavy rains, police said.
The injured were taken to the state-run SMS hospital, where condition of some of them is stated to be serious, ACP (Vaishali Nagar) Sunita Meena said.
Both the contractor and developer of the building are absconding, she said, adding that a Jaipur Municipal Corporation team is at the site to investigate the incident.
