A truck and a bus collided near a village in the Xixia County of Henan yesterday in which eight people were killed and 21 others injured.
In a separate incident, three people were killed and 19 others injured when a tourist bus carrying staff members of a local company collided with a truck on a highway in the Zhouzhi County of Shaanxi.
The bus driver suffered severe injuries and is being treated, while the truck driver and owner have been detained by police.
Police and traffic authorities are further investigating the accidents.
