Bedi in her whatsapp message to mediapersons said the boy, who bagged third spot at a national level painting competition conducted recently by the Central government in Delhi,drew painting depicting images of a child and a natural scenery.
G S Jeevanandham from Jawahar Higher Secondary school at nearby Koodapakkam village had come to the Raj Nivas to get the blessings of the Lt Governor for bagging the third prize in the ompetition.
This was the second time a school child has had the opportunity to sit in the chair of the Lt Governor.
Earlier in October another boy who was on a visit to Raj Nivas to see its architectural features along with his parents was let to sit on the chair by Bedi.
Bedi had then said her intention was to 'motivate young kids to develop high thinking and inspire them to be Lt Governor of the Union Territory one day.
