110 aspirants qualify for IFS exam; UPSC declares results

As many a 110 candidates have qualified for Indian Forest Service (IFS) examination, results of which were declared today by Union Public Service Commission.
Of those selected, 49 are in General category, 35 in Other Backward Class, 18 in Scheduled Caste and eight in Scheduled Tribe, the Commission said.
The IFS (Main) examination 2015 was held by the UPSC in November and December, last year, followed by Personality Test in January and February, this year. After which the final results were declared.
The UPSC has a 'facilitation counter' near examination hall building in its campus here. Candidates may obtain any information or clarification regarding their examination or recruitment on working days between 10AM-5PM in person or over telephone nos 011-23385271, 23381125, 23098543.
The marks of candidates are expected to be available on the website www.Upsc.Gov.In within fifteen days from the date of publication of result, it said.
