The tour package costs Rs. 9,940 per person.
According to a release here, the special train, with sleeper class coaches, carries only tourists.
Tourists would be provided with non-AC hall/dormitory accommodation and non-AC road transfers throughout the tour, they would be served South Indian vegetarian food.
The tourists would also get tour escort and security for each coach along with 'PA system.'
The train would go through Dindigul, Karur, Erode, Salem, Chennai Central and Vijayawada.
