BJP leader Kirit Somaiya today alleged that government contracts were awarded to the companies registered in the name of the close relatives of twelve PWD engineers in Maharashtra.
Somaiya said he has submitted a list of the concerned PWD engineers to the Anti Corruption Bureua (ACB).
"We have submitted a list of a dozen PWD engineers, who have given PWD work contracts to the companies registered in the names of their wives, sons and daughters," Somaiya said in a press statement.
He also demanded that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) should be formed to unearth alleged corruption in the PWD Department.
