All the injured persons were shifted to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital. The police have registered a case in connection with the incident and efforts are on to nab the driver, who is absconding, a senior police official said.
"It was a Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation bus from Sri Ganganagar city to the national capital. The reason behind the accident is yet to be ascertained," the official said.
The incident took place around 3.50 AM, following which teams of Delhi Fire Services were also rushed to the spot for a rescue operation. The overturned bus had to be removed from the area with the help of a crane, a fire official said.
