Fourteen persons were arrested after a raid on a gambling den in Thane's Wagle Estate area, police said Thursday.
Senior Inspector Kishore Khairnar said that Rs 15,115 in cash was seized from those arrested following the raid Wednesday.
A case has been registered at Vartak Nagar police station under relevant sections of the Maharashtra Prevention of Gambling Act, he said.
The official also informed that 18 people were arrested under the The Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act, 2003 for allegedly selling tobacco products in the vicinity of schools and colleges.
