A 14-year-old boy today drowned in a swimming pool inside the Rajasthan Police Academy here, an official said.
Ajay Saini, the son of constable Omprakash posted at Vidhyadhar Nagar police station, was rescued by other swimmers, the official said, adding that the boy was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
A postmortem will be conducted to see if the boy sustained any injuries during the swim, he added.
