Assistant Municipal Commissioner Vishal Khanama said that 15,689 people, including foreign athletes, have registered for the Marathon across all categories.
In all 528 registrations have been received for the full Marathon, 1,934 have enrolled for the Half-Marathon while 13,157 would participate in the 'Dream Run' category, Khanama said.
In the wheel-chair category, 17 persons have confirmed their registration while 53 visually challenged participants will also test their stamina in the running event, he said.
The marathon will begin from Vallabh Sadan on Ashram Road and move to Manav Mandir followed by Sal Hospital before reaching Science City and culminate at Vallabh Sadan. PTI SBC PD
