15 sentenced to life imprisonment in attempt to murder case

Fifteen persons were today sentenced to life imprisonment by a court here in a 10-year-old attempt to murder case.
The Fast Track Court (FTC) - I judge Ravi Shankar Sinha convicted the 15 persons after finding them guilty in an attempt to murder case of Ramashish Prasad and Ganesh Yadav, natives of Deepkula village in Patna district on April 1, 2003.
The judge sentenced the 15 persons to life imprisonment and also slapped a Rs 5000 fine on each of them.
According to prosecution, the convicts had shot at Prasad and Yadav injuring the duo critically on a dispute over hanging electric cable wire.
