15-yr-old girl found dead under mysterious circumstances

A 15-year-old girl was today found dead under suspicious circumstances in Kupwara district of Kashmir Valley, police said.
She was found dead in her house at Poruhpat village of Handwara, 80 km from here, a police spokesman said.
He said a police party rushed to the scene on getting information about the mysterious death of the girl and started inquest proceedings to ascertain the cause of her death.
Her body was handed over to her relatives for last rites after completion of all medico-legal formalities, the spokesman added.
