164 ceasefire violations along Indo-Pak border this year: Govt

A total of 164 ceasefire violations have been reported along the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir, government today said.
During these ceasefire violations, two civilians and one security personnel have been killed, Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju said in a written reply to Lok Sabha.
During the same period, border guarding force BSF apprehended a total of 16 infiltrators along this frontier stretching along Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat.
