18 IAS, IFS officers transferred in Chhattisgarh

R C Sinha, secretary, higher education, 20-point programme implementation and religious trust, has been relieved of the charge of general administration and public grievances redressal departments, official sources said today.

Revenue and disaster management secretary B L Agarwal has been handed over the charges relinquished by Sinha.

Principal secretary, health and family welfare, Ajay Singh has also been handed the additional charge of controller, food and drugs administration. Secretary to the chief minister and food and drugs administration controller K Subramaniam (forest service) has been made Secretary, sports and youth welfare department.

Similarly, Civil Supplies Corporation, Raipur, managing director Kaushalendra Singh (forest service) has been made mission director, National Rural Health Mission, Chhattisgarh.

Sports and youth welfare secretary Manohar Pandey (forest service) has also been handed over the charge of agriculture department.
