180 seats liel vacant in agri colleges

A total 180 seats lie vacant after second phase counseling for UG seats in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) and affiliated colleges.
While 35 seats remained vacant in colleges under TNAU, except B.Sc Agriculture, B.Sc Horticulture and Bsc Forestry, 145 seats are vacant in private colleges, official sources said today.
A total of 2,906 candidate were called for the second phase counseling and 804 seats were filled out of 838 candidates attended for interview.
All the Undergraduate Degree Program for the year 2016-17 will begin on August one as planned and orientation will be held for freshers on the same day, which will be addressed by Vice Chancellor K Ramasamy, they said.
